We have various different projects to help improve the lives of our people within the community, including a thrift shop, raising money for an animal petting farm through selling new and donated goods. The shop and Cat café give our people the opportunity to gain work experience and social skills. We also offer a range of activities for those not wanting work experience, with the emphasis on inclusion in the community, life and fun skills.

Cats, Coffee & Therapy

Our Cat Café – Redcar

Our Cat Café is home to six rescue cats who live here permanently. This project was set up to raise awareness of pets as therapy and help raise money for our community petting farm and animal therapy centre, as well as provide our people a calming sanctuary to relax and enjoy.

Our Café is a chill zone where people can come to de-stress, relax and enjoy the atmosphere while grabbing a bite to eat or drink. The Café is very sensory, so good for people with learning difficulties, autism, mental health problems and the elderly. We are open to public but please, be aware that no under 12′ s are allowed in the café in order to keep it a chill zone.

We also offer to close the café to public for an hour so you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. If you wishes to reserve the café, please get in touch with Julie Hatch
